In Addis Ababa, on the sidelines of the 2nd African Climate Summit, a Faith Actors Briefing brought together several African religious leaders to call for climate governance rooted in ethics, justice, and the protection of communities. The event featured a powerful speech by Bishop Coffi Roger, who emphasized the moral responsibility of believers in the face of environmental destruction. He strongly condemned harmful extractive projects, such as the EACOP pipeline, calling for their immediate halt in the name of social and environmental justice.
