Voix du Paysan pour former et informer les citoyens : un engagement pour la justice sociale et climatique.
A future threatened by inaction and greed
Fires, floods, heatwaves, storms — climate disasters are intensifying and disrupting lives around the world. Yet, while communities suffer, a privileged elite continues to profit from polluting industries. As environmental and social injustices rise, so does public anger. This September, a global mobilization is being organized to say enough to impunity and to demand strong action against the climate crisis. This movement aligns with two major international events: the UN General Assembly in New York and COP30 in Brazil.
Draw the Line: A Planetary Mobilization for Climate Justice
From September 15 to 21, 2025, actions will take place worldwide under the banner Draw the Line. The goal is clear: pressure leaders to honor their commitments and adopt bold policies for energy transition, social justice, and peace. Justin Mutabesha, a young climate justice activist, is calling on African youth to rise up and defend a livable future. What we do today will shape the world of tomorrow. The next five to ten years will determine whether we can keep global warming within safe limits — or cross an irreversible threshold.
An urgent call for citizen mobilization
In a context of democratic backsliding and broken climate promises, citizens are being urged to take a stand. Justin Mutabesha emphasizes the need for strong, inclusive civic action to challenge political inaction and corporate greed. Governments must stop favoring fossil fuel profits at the expense of people and the planet. 2025 must be a turning point toward a cleaner, fairer, and more sustainable future. Across the globe, communities are organizing. Now is the time to raise our voices and draw clear lines against those destroying our planet.
