A new voice is rising from Musenyi: the Rimes Sans Frontières Slam Collective. Born from the drive of the Sang Noir Slam collective in Uvira, this artistic movement brings together slam poets from diverse backgrounds around a common ambition: using art—particularly slam, poetry, theater, and African expression—to defend peace, justice, and human rights. The collective aims to be a free space of expression for all those who are unheard but have so much to say.
